How odd, the pig cartoon that I posted on Saturday has spontaneously updated to a pickle cartoon. WTF It makes all the comments on us pig boned ladies totally irrelevant. Has this ever happened to anyone else? How bizarre, how bizarre!
Ummm…..no, not happened to me. Is it linked to a website? Perhaps they changed the file and kept it named the same??
Banksias are an Australian native flower and they occur on small trees or shurbs called a Protea. There are many different species of Protea and the flowers amongst them differ in colour and shape. You can get a bit of an idea about the variety of flowers and you can also see a little bit of foliage at this link. http://farrer.riv.csu.edu.au/ASGAP/banks1.html
Sorry, I meant there were many species of Banksia…there are also many different types of protea, but that’s the family name so of course there are lots of them. There is one type of protea that I’m desperate to get a photograph of (not a banksia) in its native habitat, but they are not common and you rarely see them in flower.
So when are you coming to visit?

I didn’t see the other one but the pickles are great!!!
You know your stuff on the “sang”! I wondered if anyone would know. That’s why I didn’t say. Yes, we did the north facing and used a compass. He knew the slopes in realtion to his property lines but we used the compass to say we did.
I heard East facing would work but we just did north. Yes, there is Golden Seal, Black Cohosh, and plenty of ferns or at least the ones that are alive now. We will also plant Golden Seal as a companion plant. We expect a 50% survival rate.
