MORE RANDOM THOUGHTS:
on words: I think the reason I love words, individually and collectively, is not that I am some kind of wordsmith. I think it is the exact opposite. I am like the art collecter who has the painting on the wall because she can’t create one of her own. I collect words and phrases in my head. Maybe i’m hoping that one day they will all weave together and create a thing of beauty. They won’t because I am not a writer, but the hope is always there.
on e-props: I know some think they are evil, maybe they are if they are thrown like feathers in the wind. What they are supposed to be is encouragement for someone or something. praise for something that someone wrote that touched you or enlightened you. If you think that praising someone for a job well done is stupid or not needed then maybe the problem is Not with e-props but with you. Some people prefer to diminish others-it doesn’t make you bigger to tear someone down or make them feel bad. It only makes you weak in spirit and cruel in your soul.
on being average: Some people hate it, some love it, not everyone knows what i’m talking about. I am average size and I think average in intelligence and looks. Over the course of my life I decided that everyone is average in some aspect. What is nice about it is that when you play upon the one thing(s) that makes you above average people notice and hopefully encourage it to flourish.
on work: Everyone says work hard and you’ll get ahead. That’s a lie Not everyone “gets ahead” sometimes it’s luck getting ahead ie: being in the right place at the right time. or being introduced to the one person who can help you get where you want to be. I do believe that without hard work you won’t reach your goals, but sometimes it’s just not enough.
disclaimer: all thoughts are my own, no-one has to agree with them, I hope I didn’t piss anyone off too badly.

Your comments on getting ahead is part luck and such reminded me of a story we just read in my english class, The Death of a Salesman. How interesting that you make those comments when we were just discussing that very thing in class just yesterday.
Death of a Salesman broke my heart so sad, must be why I’m glassheart. just browsing like the site. I agree with the prop thing
