Hey! Guess what?
Today is my birthday…….
……and it’s snowing!!
I can only remember it snowing on my birthday once before and that was when we lived on Cape Cod. It was very close to Easter that year and the kids went out on the back deck and made a snowman on my birthday. Most of the time we live in places that by April 7th it’s way to warm to snow. The cape weather was a bit cooler than Arkansas and Arizona. Now don’t go asking me what we’re doing for my birthday cause the answer is a big nothing. Bear declared over 2 months ago that our anniversary and my birthday present was our trip to Ireland. Which I explained to him was a big pile of dog doodoo because if Brian and Allie were getting married in August he wouldn’t dare try to claim it as having anything to do with my birthday. Oh well!
I plan on celebrating their wedding to the absolute fullest extent that Irish law and Guinness allow and screw getting a year older!! rofl.Who’s with me?

And you know the Irish law and Guinness allow for a pretty full extent… You may regret saying that!
) I love you and I hope your birthday is the best on record!. xoxoxoxo
WOO HOO!
Happy birthday! You are going to have a wonderful time at the wedding. Maybe you can find a nice Irish sweter for your birthday… That would be included as a trip expense wouldn’t it? lol
(((((((((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))))))))))
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
@angi1972 - Oh absolutely! A nice Aran Island wool sweater….because I forgot mine.
Happy Birthday!!!
Happy birthday.
I can remember it snowed during the night before my birthday when I was younger.
It rained last year on my birthday.
happy birthday!!!
Being that I live in Southern California, the weather never does anything differently for my birthday.
I hope your birthday is terrific … both today and on celebration day in Ireland. Have a pint for me!
Happy Birthday beautiful friend. I am with you in spirit and raise a glass to you today!
Happy birthday!
Have the happiest of birthdays ever!! Another year….I’m with you..big deal….life goes on and I am certain you’ll find plenty of ways to celebrate each and every day.
You sound really excited about Allie’s wedding!!!!! I’m just hanging around here, waiting in anticipation because I KNOW there are gonna be plenty of pictures!!!
I mean, after all, if you post pics of facinating doors, I can only imagine what will come from the wedding!!!
(I’m glad she found a braski she liked) Hey, this is an old one you’ve probably heard…Do you know what the German’s call a bra?
Stopintittinfloppin!
……………………….whatever……………………………………………
@piqued - OMG, girl you kill me, I am rofl. stopintittinfloppin??? holy cow!!
You bet there will be pictures……of doors, of people, of beautiful Ireland. I may even throw in a few feet. Especially Allison’s since it took us three months to find the perfect shoes to go with her dress! I am so excited, in three days I will be in Galway with both my kids and the men they love and Cassie’s beautiful daughter. Days of beauty and love await, of course I will share with my xanga friends.
I need your address asap, for a postcard you know.
Happy birthday!
O Happy, Happy, Joy,Joy It’s about damn time ! No one deserves a grander Birthday celeb than you. Hooray !
Will the coinkydinks never end ?? We just sold my parents house on the Cape and I’ve spent every summer down there…almost forever. My favorite was the 90 degree Easter on the deck and then a snowstorm for Mothers Day (’77, I think).
Have a grand ol time !! Ta
(PS: favorite bra ‘name’ – “over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder”)
RYC: Thanks! My family are all unbearably German, I had to give my heritage a nod.
Happy birthday! And hey, one trip to Ireland is NEVER enough — a birthday is certainly worth one more!
@GermanWrench - ….unbearably German, do I know your family?
I love Ireland and Germany and France, heck I just love it over here period!
Here’s a coincidence, my daughter that’s getting married Friday in Galway, her future sister in law is an Aoife. So you might have some Irish in you to go with your Germanness. Your SO VERY right about one trip to Ireland not being enough, that’s part of the reason that this is my third, lol.
