What, me weird? No way!
So per instructions I’m supposed to list 6 weird things about myself
and then tag 6 people. I’m not mean enough to tag anyone, so if you
want to share your weirdness go ahead and for those who already
have….thanks, it makes me feel much more normal. Whatever “normal”
is….1. A few years back I developed a phobia about taking a shower alone, to vulnerable I guess.
So for a long time I
would only shower with someone in the room (not necessarily in the shower.) to keep me
“company” It kind of went away, but I still lock ALL
doors and windows before I shower and if there’s multiple doors between
the shower and the front door I’ll lock ever single one.2. I don’t like feet. I can make an exception if they are well groomed,
but keep gnarly feet hidden away please. On a semi related note, I
don’t like seeing filthy hands. Soap is cheap, use it before going out
in public.3.I still call my mom, mama and my dad, daddy. I think its a Southern
thing because I’ve heard other adult southeners do it too. But even I
know at my age it can sound childish. But who cares? Not me, or
my three sisters, who are all older than me. (bunch o’ weirdos)4. I love perfume but can’t wear it. Almost all perfume will
eventually give me a raging headache but they smell so good that I keep
trying. What is it they say about doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome…….5. I still don’t know what I want to be or what I want to do when I
grow up. I should probably figure that out before I hit retirement,
don’t you agree?6. I look better in gold jewelry but prefer silver and rarely wear
anything other than my diamond stud earrings and my wedding set.
I wear my engagement ring, split from my band, on my right hand instead
of the left. Now there’s some obscure things.
EDIT: I can’t believe I forgot to share my joy. You ladies know
what I’m talking about. The joy that can only be found in retail stores
under a sign that says clearance. This particular piece of joy
was in the shoe department. sigh. (I can sure be a stereotypical
girl sometimes.) Anyway, there they were all shiny new in all their
shooey( like chewy, only not edible) glory, the perfect 2 pair of
boots. One black pair, one brown pair, nothing to fancy just something
for all your jeans and slack wearing needs. The heels not to high
but not to low, the toe box nice and roomy. And the price, omg I
was in heaven, $50.00 boots marked down 75%. Yup, I got 100 dollars
worth of boots for 25 bucks. Yes, that’s right $12.50 a pair!
w00t!Made me want to dance around the store singing “Oh Happy Day”

I still say mama and daddy too….and always will! The shower thing! I prefer someone else to be at home when I am in the shower, too…and I will wait until someone gets there. I thought that was just me! If no one is home or coming home and I need to shower, I just take a bath. For some reason I can do that. Jeepers! I shoulda thought about this for one of my weird things!!
duly noted.
Wow…you really are weird!
The shower thing is odd…but could be fun.
I bet you ‘ve just seen too many horror movies…with the girl getting grabbed while in the shower. I think I was tagged to do this, but can’t remember who tagged me. (0_o)
Ooo…sexy shoes! (0_o) Yeah, my MIL was in there for about 10 days. She is doing much better, but still getting around slowly. How is Bear?
I do numbers 1,3,5, and 6. So maybe they’re hereditary things.
I know #1 is because I know that if someone should break in to my house, I be alone, naked and with no pointy or heavy weapons within easy reach. I know it probably won’t happen, but paranoia is constantly getting the better of me.
My step children all still call their dad Daddy. The oldest will be 50 in July. I guess Missouri could sorta be considered South. Um, it was let into statehood as a slave state. However, it didn’t succeed from thr union. There was just lots of battles going on in it during that bitter war.
nice boots.
I get creeped out in the shower too… sometimes.
I call my parents mommy and daddy, for real.
I look better in silver but wear gold. I should get while gold I guess. too late.
Thanks for making me smile!
I had a smile Elizabeth at reading your weird things . Weird but nice .
And more yet at reading your good deal with the shoes . I wonder how many you have in your shoe cupboard ? 30 pairs ?
Love
Michel
Oh. My. God. That is so unfair!! Two pair! Gah! Lucky Duckie. And I knew all of your weird stuffs… I only do 3 and 5, so that means that even though I am infinately more like you then my dear sister, she inherited your wierdness. Ha! But then, now that I think about it, I am so much stranger than you and Em. Just in different ways.
) Love you bunches!
It was so bad mom! Emily totally con-ed us into going into the pub, and before my halfling self realized it she was drunk and dancing on the table in the middle of a group of dwarves. It was crazy I tell ya. And then the bard (Peter) that was playing at the pub seduced me! Seduced me I tell ya! And then that mean ol’ DM did some suspicious rolling and whamo! Preggo! With twins no less!! But then the gods did some mojo on me and made some cryptic remarks about the kiddos being all special and everything. So… yeah….. Gotta love D&D, huh?
)
Oh yeah, and I had a fever for a couple of days, but I’m fine now. I’m not really sure what, if anything, was really wrong. I just didn’t feel well. But I’m doing just fine now, never fear!
How lucky on the boots!!!!!!!! I really relate to #5, same here! :::scratching head:::(no not lice, just can’t make up me mind!) Love to you. The strange face picture isn’t me–thank you though!
great boots! #’s 1,3,4,5 I completly understand the perfume headache’s I get them also. But your right they smell to good to resist trying, the shower thing, someone I trust has to be in the house and all the doors have to be locked. I will always call my Dad, Daddy. Thats what their little girls are supose to do. for #5 I choose Neverland LOL! Love ya!(I emailed you some pic’s of the kids did you get them? Please let me know I’m posting again)
