This morning my doorbell rang and when I opened it up my youngest
daughter says to me…”Next time you’re coming DOWNSTAIRS!!” I grabbed
her and then burst into tears. God, I’m so cool and collected I
just amaze myself. Now she wants to go to Mannheim and surprise
her dad. Wow! So I guess I’ll throw some stuff into her suitcase and
we’ll hop a train over to there. Monday is going rather well,
I’ll write more and put up a picture or two when we get back. I love
company, especially family. And as a bonus I now have someone to go
apartment hunting with and someone to help me purge this apt of
crapola. YAY!

I love me a good surprise, man. And misery does love company, doesn’t it? Good luck apartment hunting.
What an incredible surprise! I can think of anything better … unless she came bearing chocolate, of course. ;o)
I hope you’re enjoying your time and finding all kinds of places with potential!
Have you taught me nothing?! Look at that old fashioned smiley up there! I don’t know where that guy came from.
i love a good surprise… that would have made me cry too!
Hey girl, sorry it has been a while a lot is going on here. I sure do miss you and the girls. Your goddaughter is growing like a weed and smarter than I could have ever imagine. Jesse is being Jesse, a lot more of Steven is showing in him and I am having trouble dealing with it, but I take it day by day. Its hard when the past that you thought was behind you, slaps you in the face. I miss all of you so much. Congrats on the suprise, I hope I can be half the mother that you are, your daughters are lucky, and the most important thing is they know and appreciate it. I love you girl. Have a great visit.
have any advice for a daughter who is leaving home, so she can give it to a sad mum?
It was good to read your writing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope the trip was a memorable one!! You’ll have to fill us in!
