For everyone today.
I know…couldn’t help myself.
Bear went back to work tonight, so I won’t see him until Wednesday morning. It used to really bug me being alone so much, but anymore I slip into the groove pretty quick. I do what I want to, when I want to. I don’t go anywhere, I just hang out here at home most of the time. That’s okay too. I like home. I spend a lot of time drawing, watching the tube (yeah! big screen TV) on the computer, reading, listening to music, and a whole lot of puttering. I guess I would probably go out more if there was someplace within 100 miles that I haven’t been to at least 3 dozen times. That’s the reason that I go to St. Louis and Kansas City at the drop of a hat. You want to leave now? okay, let me grab my toothbrush. That’s also the reason the possibility of Bear getting transfered really doesn’t trouble me to much. I’m ready let’s go.
I’m thinking about updating the bedroom into a Moroccan theme. Something like this only not so pink. More greens and golds. What I need is some clearer ideas, or a better picture. I figure I can surprise the old man, he leaves at 7 pm Sat. and doesn’t get home until 9 am wednesday morning that gives me plenty of time to do whatever.
What do you think?
Should I do this or does someone have a better idea. Just no florals or frills, other than that I’m open to suggestions. Especially suggestions with color photos to help this poor unimaginative woman.
Now for something new. This is going to be my xanga, if I was, could, space.
Example: If I was rich I would give money to her.
If I could eat lunch with anyone it would be her.
If I could wave my magic mom wand I would do it for you.
All for now, from the pig boned lady.

I had to laugh at that comic strip!
I like the look of that bedroom, though I agree, it’s a little heavy on the pinks and reds. A lighter shade might help, or perhaps greens, as you suggested. Or blues.
Thanks so much for stopping by and offering your kind words of support: I do appreciate it! Please feel free to stop by again anytime. It is a pleasure to meet you!
Enjoy your Sunday!
So you’re planning a DIY “While You Were Out” episode, essentially? Where’s Andrew Dan Jumbo when you need him! I like the bedding in that photo but the walls are rather disturbing -way too mottled and not a very relaxing colour. Also not too sure about the gold curtains(maybe the gold would be ok in a different fabric for the windows) and the big medallion thingy. You’d think that with the 14 million decorating shows I’ve seen I could make some useful suggetions, but I’m drawing a complete blank. I’ll just shuffle my own pig-boned self away now.
I totally agree. To mottled, to pink, and where the hell is handy Andy? Maybe instead of mottled it should be a completely different paint technique? Nest Ce Pas?
You know I used to say, “You’re just so BOVINE” to my cow-like friends… but I may start changing that to “What a PORCINE darling you are,” after that cartoon… Actually I think the other white meat has lots going for it… their skin (before it’s fried pork-rinded) is very very similar to human skin, especially humans like MKD who has LARGE large pores… and now I have no idea where this was going– just blither-blathering… sort of like what I’d do on our LUNCH. This is how it’ll go: we’ll start talking, then periodically try to trace what we were talking about in the first place before we digressed into another topic to another topic– and we’ll LAUGH LAUGH LAUGH (talking shit about our men, current events, etc.)… We’d figure out what to do with that room to surprise Bear… yeah, I do think it’ll be one of the best lunches ever…
ps. I hope you get to move nearer to the East coast… (no reason, just my ulterior motives at work.)
no no. the banner part saying learning to breath is from a song on the “a walk to remember” soundtrack. i’de like to take credit for it, but i can’t. the song is called “Learning to Breathe” by Switchfoot. itsa great song. haveĀ a listen sometime.
