YAHOO!!!!
Barry got the job!! He starts tomorrow night. Now we can really celebrate our anniversary. In fact we can celebrate our anniversary, the new job and my birthday. How cool is that. Things are coming up roses. I love the idea of full benefits, higher wages and full retirement. They will even pay for part of my tuition when I go back to school. The best part of it all is we don’t have to relocate. As much as I love to go places and as many places as I still want to see, I just don’t want to move right now. So for us this will be perfect.
I got some good comments on the jury business. riotgyrrrl mentioned something I was already worried about…a numb butt. I can’t imagine sitting there for hours while some lawyer drones on and on. Do they give cigarette breaks? I see me sitting there trying to concentrate with a numb ass and serious nicotine withdrawal. Then Randy really spooked me with the whole death penalty thing. Though I don’t think there’s even a penalty case going on in the state. I’m so damn wishy washy on the death penalty. If they asked me that’s exactly what I would have to say. Bother, I better just not think about it for awhile.
Everyone has started asking me what I want for my birthday. Since I’m totally blank here’s where you can help out. What do you want for your birthday? What you want might just be the thing I want and didn’t even know it. Wouldn’t that be something…I’ll test drive your present for you and let you know how it works out. lol! I asked Ashe and he said a million dollars and a woman who understands. Yeah right!! Not to bust your bubble or anything but what planet are you from? I think I’m looking for a little more down to Earth answer than that.
Yesterday was RockinRandy and Singlemoms two month anniversary. Congratulations to the honeymooners! A true Xanga romance. I believe in computer love. My step-daughter and her husband met online over five years ago. Then a couple of years ago a navy friend met a lovely Australian lady online and they got married right here at my house. We have a great backyard for weddings. A huge deck, full grown oak trees, flowers, everything you need for an outdoor wedding. So, some may scoff at meeting your lover by computer but it can work. I’ve seen it happen twice.
Rock on!
