Very good day at work. When you get everything accomplished that you set out to do at the beginning of the dawn, you see satisfaction. So here I am, tired but so grateful to be able to do the thing that need to be done. Somedays are harder than others but when you laugh, and joke with the rest of the team you feel good at days end. For those who don’t know, I work at a Recycling Center. Yes, we save the planet one pop bottle, and one carboard box at a time. Today we put out two 1500lbs. bales of paper and two 1100lbs. bales of cardboard. We three women processed approx. 5000 lbs of recyclables. We did other stuff to, like repairing 2 bins and harassing some convicts(that was fun)and a few other misc. things.
- Daughter Em got her grades in today. Kudos!
- 100 in senior research
- 87 in World Studies
- 98 in Botany
- 100 in 2D3D graphics
- 102 in Algebra 3
- 93 in senior Eng. composition.
63 in physics
Now I know a 63 isn’t great but I am so glad it’s not a complete loss that I am thrilled. But doesn’t it give pause for thought that the next lowest grade is 87, then it jumps five more points, and keeps going up from there. Kind of makes me wonder if maybe it might be the teacher instead of the student that has a problem. Maybe he isn’t connecting all the dots, or whatever they do.
