Emily sat down in the chair at exactly 10am, at 11 the nurse came and got me and said she was ready to go. Ready being a relative term as I found out. She was barely conscious and by that I mean she was upright and her eyes were half open, she wasn’t aware at all. The nurse and I got her to the elevator(no stairs) and into car, as soon as she sat down her eyes closed. I buckled her seatbelt and tied her ice bags back around her face. Three times on the way home I had to stop and fix those damn ice bags, and twice to change her gauze pads. So we get to Clinton at 1pm and I stopped to get Judy. By this time I knew I needed someone to stay with her until I got her scrips filled. (I was afraid she might choke or something) So Judy followed us home in her car(she didn’t ride with us) I was gone about 45 min. Judy left and from 1:45 until 5pm I changed her ice bags, gave her drugs, made her drink some cool stress tea and she was unconscious thru it all. I think it all went pretty smooth what do you think?
