Today is the Vernal Equinox, while I would love to run outside
and celebrate, since its only 41 degrees I think I’ll refrain, I might
slip on the ice. Luckily it’s all melting under the brilliant
sunshine we have today and, despite the temperature and the brisk
wind accompanying it, it really does feel like Spring. I thought it
felt like Spring yesterday too. We went down to the lake and
walked around it, its that small.(Bear man says it’s an overgrown
pond.) The ice is very thin and though the ducks could stand on
it I doubt it would hold the weight of the swans. So here I was
in my heavy Winter coat, leather gloves and scarf on head but I still
thought it felt like Spring. It was more than just the sunshine
it must be an internal clock.

How charming , a walk around the lake /pond and the freezing ground crisping under your feet ! Happy time .
And this visit to Rome at the beginning of April . A dream become true .

happy spring… in my mind I’m handing you a spring bouquet… I hope you don’t mind that i got it from the grocery store… I should have just picked it from everyone’s yards…
yeah, you know it’s spring when it’s snowing one day and eighty the next… I hope you don’t get to enthusiastic and hurt yourself.

I like walking in the cold. I used to do it all the time when I lived in Indiana. Don’t get much opportunity down here in Texas though.
It has been very chilly here lately … well, by Cali standards anyway. Rainy and overcast too … very blah. We have a field trip tomorrow to the art museum, so I’m hoping that the rain is over by the time we have to leave … or at least by the time we are supposed to eat our lunch in the park!
Ok … off to read the post I missed …
THe first day of spring.. I spent saturday knee deep in snow….. UGH
You’re absolutely right about the Sam’s Club “playhouse”
hey, it’s supposed to snow here, so our spring is starting with only the second sign of winter all year. I love irony.
Well, here in Missouri it is cold and snowy. The snow is almost all gone already, but the cold is still here. The robins had to dig through the snow this morning to catch their breakfast.
HI!
You haven’t updated in a while so I really have nothing new to say…just wanted you to know that I stopped by and I hope everything is good with you.
Blessings!
